Went out with mom to get a present for an in-laws kid. Got a new model yonex racket for RM133 including strings and grip. While waiting for it to be strung, mom suggested having some ice-kacang at crystal crown hotel. We parked nearby below a shop and spotted this lovely lotus plant outside. Walked to the hotel and went upstairs to the hotel restaurant. It overlooks the busy Jalan Tebrau and you can look at cars whizzing past.
Ordered this Ice Kacang. Quite nice with lots of canned lychee and pineapple at the bottom (RM7). Other stuff on the menu were very expensive, RM9 for an iced-lemon tea!
Next to the hotel restaurant was a Japanese restaurant which used to be good before they changed the head chef, still popular with local Japanese folk due to its wide selection of SAKE...
